Prepares the student for a better understanding of Naturopathy by providing a solid foundation in human anatomy and physiology. Students will expand their knowledge of the human body, beginning with the atom and building upward to the complexity of the core physiological systems. Reviewed in this course are the subjects of basic chemistry, cells and tissues, skin and body membranes, the skeletal system, the muscular system, the nervous system, special senses, the endocrine system, the blood and cardiovascular system, lymphatic system and body defenses, the respiratory system, the digestive system, body metabolism, the urinary system, and the reproductive system.
