Conventional Western medicine has been declared the only scientific medicine. The current medical system is based upon a materialistic model incorporating Darwinist theories of evolution, Newtonian physics, chemistry, physical anatomy, and physiology. However, through explorations and observations of the behavior of particles at the subatomic level, science has continued to evolve. Quantum physics, a new scientific standard and model for the understanding of reality, has revolutionized our society on many levels, sparking discussion of science versus spirituality/ consciousness and transforming the core of our society. Within this course, medicine is redefined as creative and integrative; based on the new scientific model of understanding. The purpose of integrative medicine is to solve the current healthcare crisis while leading to a new vision of health care based not on disease but on the full potential of the individual. The student’s understanding of the human body will expand to include the body’s subtle energy systems and the mental and emotional connections to the physical body.

This course shows that creative healing approaches have the potential to solve problems still unresolved by conventional medicine, specifically in the areas of chronic and degenerative diseases. The student will realize that the science for quantum healing is available and that this knowledge makes perfect sense according to the views of modern quantum physics. This course models a multidimensional approach to healing and introduces several examples of treatment modalities, that have been used to promote healing. This course is designed for students who are involved in the study of natural or alternative medicine, or medical doctors or other health-care professionals facing the limits of conventional cures as experienced in daily practice. The science of creative integrative medicine is presented as a perspective on the healing of disease that provides an alternative to fatalistic prognoses.
